Music Appreciation
Instructor: Mr. Paul Carbajal, M.A.
Students will be exposed to major genres of music (e.g., Rock, Country, Reggae, Salsa, Ska, Hip Hop) as well as a brief introduction to specific history, rhythms, lyrics, and instrumentation. Elective to include lecture, audio samples, video, and active class participation. Students are encouraged to explore and evaluate new styles of music, as well as increase their own level of musical awareness.
