Cultural Studies

Tom Sawyer is a book about life on the Mississippi River in the 18th Century. Cultural studies will study the characters and the American way of life during that time period which have affected us to this day. We will have interactive, hands on experiences which help us relive the story. To complete our study, we will watch parts of a Tom Sawyer DVD and learn songs of the time period.
